Klingt irgendwas nicht so, wie ihr wollt? Dann: Fix it! In diesem Kurs gehen wir Probleme gezielt an – Schritt für Schritt statt alle auf einmal. Gerade bei neuen Songs wollen wir oft zu viel gleichzeitig: Töne, Rhythmus, Text... Das überfordert schnell.
Wir isolieren typische Baustellen wie Vokale, Synchronizität oder Stimmsitz und entwickeln daraus einfache Übungen für zuhause und eure Proben. So werden Fortschritte hörbar – und Erfolge fühlbar, ohne den Spaß zu verlieren. Semhar bringt dazu Beispiele aus dem Probenalltag von Ladies First mit.
Welche Probleme wollt ihr fixen? Bringt eure aktuellen Herausforderungen mit und lasst uns gemeinsam kreativ sein!

Mein Ziel ist es immer, die individuelle Weiterentwicklung zu fördern, da dies den größten Einfluss auf die Gruppe hat!

This course is designed to empower singers with essential skills in reading music notation and ear training. Through structured and interactive sight-singing exercises, attendees will develop proficiency in reading sheet music, recognizing musical intervals, and enhancing their overall musical literacy.

1. Sight-sing musical excerpts using a variety of solemnization techniques
2. Recognize and perform pitches, rhythms, key signatures, intervals, and other music notation
3. Recognize and sing intervals within the most common chord progressions

Chords, and chord progressions, are one of the things that make barbershop 'feel' like barbershop. We love the dominant seventh chord so much, we've even called it the 'Barbershop Seventh'! Come and learn more about the vocabulary, variety, voicings and progressions that are commonly found within the style - we'll even write a tag!

- Develop a deeper understanding of the barbershop style and general music theory
- Acquire practical skills to ensure greater harmonic colour when writing arrangements
- Develop a great love for the absolutely nerdiness of chords!
