DESCRIPTION:Erstmalig abgehalten 1995 in Goch wurde dieser BinG! Wettbewerb über die Jahre zu jedem neuen "Heim" des Harmony College mitgenommen und hat sich zu einer festen Institution im BinG!-Jahr entwickelt. In Ehren an den Ursprung des Harmony College\, das erstmalig 1991 als Chorwerkstatt in Coesfeld abgehalten wurde\, hat man den jährlich stattfinden Wettbewerb 1998 "Coesfeld Cup" getauft.\nAn Bedeutung steht der Coesfeld Cup den deutschen Meisterschaften\, die alle 2 Jahre beim Barbershop Musikfestival abgehalten werden\, in nichts nach.\n\nEs gelten die BinG! Wettbewerbsregeln\, die Medaillengewinner werden eingeladen\, im BinG! Medaillisten Chor "Heavy Medal" mitzusingen.\n\nJudges\nSinging: Tim Waurick\, Philip Grant\nMusicality: Tyler Wiggington\, Johan Wikström\nPerformance: Dusty Schleier\, Blair Brown\n\nCoesfeld Cup:\n\nFirst held in Goch in 1995\, this BinG! competition has been taken to every new “home” of the Harmony College over the years and has become a permanent institution in the BinG! year. In honor of the origin of the Harmony College\, which was first held as a choir workshop in Coesfeld in 1991\, the annual competition was christened the “Coesfeld Cup” in 1998.\nIn terms of importance\, the Coesfeld Cup is in no way inferior to the German championships\, which are held every two years at the Barbershop Music Festival.\n\nThe BinG! competition rules apply and the medal winners are invited to sing in the BinG! medalist choir “Heavy Medal”.

DESCRIPTION:“Speech Level Singing is the refusal to reach.” - SLS trains you not to reach for high pitches which means the larynx stays at a speech level position\, allowing the vocal cords to adjust as the pitches go up or down without disconnecting. That means the cords stay connected\, so you have no breaks\, cracks\, breathiness or falsetto no matter how high or low you sing. There’s no interruption in the tone quality because the voice is balanced. This class will explore the science of why this approach is great for barbershop and how it allows us to find performances that transcend technique and find pure emotion.\n \n Participants will be able to minimize the impact of their passaggio and make more sound with less work.

Dieser Kurs möchte die Möglichkeit bieten\, zur Harmony-College-"Halbzeit" Eindrücke schildern zu können und gemeinsam die Anwendbarkeit von Barbershop und den Wert des Verbandes und der Community hinsichtlich des eigenen musikalischen Arbeitsfeldes zu reflektieren und zu diskutieren. Der Kurs ist für die Stipendiat*innen verpflichtend\, aber auch für alle weiteren Teilnehmer*innen offen\, die Interesse am Mitdenken\, Austauschen und Networken haben.\n\nThe Harmony College Scholarship invites (aspiring) professional musicians and music educators to get to know Barbershop\, the association\, and the community. This course aims to offer participants the opportunity to share their impressions at the "midpoint" of Harmony College and to collectively reflect on and discuss the applicability of Barbershop\, as well as the value of the association and community in relation to their own professional musical work. The course is mandatory for scholarship recipients but also open to all other participants who are interested in engaging in discussion\, exchanging ideas\, and networking.

So werden Fortschritte hörbar – und Erfolge fühlbar\, ohne den Spaß zu verlieren. Semhar bringt dazu Beispiele aus dem Probenalltag von Ladies First mit.\n Welche Probleme wollt ihr fixen? Wer ihn trägt\, signalisiert: Ich bin schon länger dabei und kenne mich aus. Sprich mich an\, wenn du Fragen oder Probleme hast.
